Qualifications & experience

 

  • Bachelor's degree in Marine Engineering, Naval Architechture, Maritime Studies, Information Technology, or a related field. preferably candidate who has sailing experience onboard tanker.
  • Having good knowledge for machineries onboard
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with Sertica ERP system or similar maritime software is a plus.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team and effectively communicate with stakeholders.
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt to evolving industry technologies and best practices.

Tasks & responsibilities

 

  • Quality Control of Deliverables: Thoroughly review and verify the accuracy of ship technical data deliverables. Ensure compliance with industry standards and company guidelines. Identify and rectify discrepancies in technical data, if any.
  • Technical Documentation Management: Scan and digitize technical drawings, manuals, spare parts information, maintenance instructions, and nameplate details. Organize and maintain digital records to facilitate quick access and retrieval of crucial technical information.
  • Warranty Claims Management: Vet the delivered data during implementation for potential issues. Collaborate with 3rd party services and other stakeholders to raise and follow through on warranty claims when necessary.
  • Data Management and Distribution: Ensure that drawings, plans, and knowledge resources are optimally uploaded into the Sertica Office system. Maintain satellite vessel databases with the latest technical information, both offline and online.
  • Project Coordination: Take on a pivotal role in coordinating PMS data delivery for various projects. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution and data management.
  • PMS Configuration: Lead the initial commissioning and configuration of the PMS (Preventive Maintenance System) scheme. Work in consultation with business users to align system functionality with operational needs.
