Marine Superintendent (LNG Tanker)






Job Overview

To ensure the safe operation of the ships and to provide a link between Company and those on board to monitor the safety and pollution prevention aspects of the operation.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Monitor the shipboard marine safety, environmental & quality issues, act as part of the risk assessment team for shipboard procedures and operations
  2. Monitor the voyage and operational performance of assigned vessels providing assistance to the Master as necessary.
  3. Maintain ISM Certification and formulate the shipboard annual audit plan
  4. Conduct vessel inspections to confirm compliance with SOLAS, MARPOL, STCW, ILO Conventions and applicable industry codes.
  5. Maintain records of accidents, incidents, near misses and non-conformance reports.
  6. 6Responsible for carrying out Marine procedures that are in accordance with the company's SOP
  7. Establish annual audit plans, arrange and co-ordinate internal audits, take part in audits and follow-up corrective actions.
  8. Arrange and monitor inspections onboard fleet vessels including pre-vetting, incident investigation, audit, QA implementation and safety training.

Requirements

  1. Required COC Class-1 Master Mariner / ANT-1 (Ahli Nautika Tingkat 1) Certified / Master Mariner License
  2. Sailing experience as Master capacity, min. 2 contracts in Oil/Chemical/Gas tankers or Chief Officer, min. 2 contracts
  3. Having vast knowledge for maritime regulation also familiar with TMSA, SIRE, PSA etc.
  4. Possess good analytical thinking, proactive, good leadership and able to work Collaboratively
