Hull Engineer

1. Develop and optimize hull designs for the new LNG tanker, considering factors such as cargo capacity, speed requirements, and operational efficiency in Nusa Tenggara waters.

2. Perform comprehensive hull structural analyses, including finite element analysis (FEA), to ensure the design meets all classification society rules and international maritime regulations for LNG carriers.

3. Design and integrate specialized LNG containment systems (e.g., membrane tanks or spherical tanks) into the hull structure, accounting for thermal stresses and sloshing loads.

4. Conduct hydrodynamic studies, including computational fluid dynamics (CFD) simulations, to optimize hull form for reduced resistance and improved fuel efficiency.

5. Collaborate with other disciplines to integrate hull design with propulsion systems, cargo handling equipment, and other critical tanker components.

6. Prepare detailed engineering drawings, technical specifications, and material requisitions for hull construction during the EPCI phase.

7. Provide technical oversight during the hull construction process, including block fabrication, assembly, and outfitting, ensuring adherence to design specifications and quality standards.

8. Participate in sea trials and commissioning activities, verifying hull performance and structural integrity under various operational conditions.
