Legal Manager Operation, Dispute,  and Project Management

A. Legal Operations & Compliance (Group Company)

Overseeing and ensuring legal compliance in daily operational activities across all business units (shipping, marine, plantation, fuel distribution, and others).

Conducting review, drafting, and negotiation of commercial contracts, including charter parties, MoUs, LOIs, supply/sales contracts, and other operational supporting agreements.

Ensuring that legal documentation standards are consistently applied throughout all companies within the group.

Providing legal opinions on operational and commercial legal issues.

B. Legal Team Supervision

Leading and managing the legal team consisting of:

1 Assistant Manager,

2 Supervisors, and

2 Legal Admin staff.

Monitoring team performance, assigning tasks, and developing team competencies.

Establishing SOPs and legal workflows to improve efficiency and accuracy of work processes.

C. Dispute Resolution & Advisory

Handling and overseeing dispute resolution (litigation and non-litigation), including maritime/commercial disputes, civil matters, and administrative cases.

Providing dispute resolution strategies, including early warning systems to minimize potential legal risks.

Preparing legal memorandums and formal recommendations for the Board of Directors (BOD) and Board of Commissioners (BOC).

Coordinating with external law firms, government agencies, and other stakeholders throughout the dispute resolution process.

D. Project Management – Infrastructure & LNG Spot

Serving as PIC/Head of Legal for infrastructure and LNG spot projects, particularly related to cable-laying business and other maritime projects.

Managing all legal aspects of the projects, from feasibility studies, EPC contracts, permitting, to project implementation compliance.

Ensuring risk mitigation and project legal documentation comply with oil & gas, maritime, and infrastructure regulations.
